The solo exhibition titled “Nocturnal Shades” displayed a total of 130 artworks by Hamiduzzaman Khan including 92 paintings done in watercolour and acrylic. Both strong and subdued colours were used to paint the series. Doing away with any particular object or theme, the paintings evoked a sense of tranquility. Besides these striking paintings, 20 metal and marble stone sculptures of different sizes were displayed at the exhibition. Human and animal figures, along with organic forms, were featured in the sculptures. The inaugural ceremony of the exhibition was attended by eminent artist Monirul Islam, art critic Burhanuddin Khan Jahangir and Summit Group Chairman Muhammed Aziz Khan.
