SUMMARY:Jolokabbo. Edge Gallery\, Dhaka\, Bangladesh
DESCRIPTION:The group watercolour exhibition\, organised by Edge\, the Foundation\, showcased artworks by fourteen budding artists as well as three veterans and established artists. The veteran artists were Hamiduzzaman Khan\, Ranjit Das and Samarjit Roy Choudhury. The young artists displayed watercolours highlighting complex compositions and some of their works used techniques\, which were not seen in the public art sphere in Dhaka prior to the exhibition\, e.g. painting using Chinese ink. They highlighted a spectrum of emotions\, portrayed through the vivid depictions of nature. The artworks focused on three primary themes: landscape\, nature and riverine life.   \nNewspaper link: https://www.observerbd.com/details.php?id=108818 \n
