Gallery Chitrak organised an exhibition, titled Still Life 2018, featuring artworks by forty-three eminent artists on the theme of still life. The paintings highlighted artists’ perception of still life and sensation characterized by the relationship between humans and materialistic objects. The artworks were done with oil paint, acrylic and mixed-media. Participating artists included Samarjit Roy Chowdhury, Hashem Khan, Rafiqun Nabi, Monirul Islam, Hamiduzzaman Khan, Abdus Shakoor Shah, Biren Shome, Abul Barq Alvi, Shahid Kabir, Mohammad Eunus, Jamal Ahmed, Shishir Bhattacharjee, Nisar Hossain, Shahanoor Mamun and others. Renowned artist Mustafa Monwar inaugurated the exhibition.
