Dhaka Gallery organised a month-long group art exhibition as part of its inaugural event. The exhibition displayed 48 artworks of twenty-six contemporary artists of Bangladesh, including Hamiduzzaman Khan, Kalidas Karmakar, Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Mahmudul Haque, Monirul Islam, Murtaza Baseer, Mustapha Khalid Palash, Rafiqun Nabi, Samarjit Roy Choudhury, Shahabuddin Ahmed, Shishir Bhattacharjee and others. A book edited by Mustapha Khalid Palash, featuring the synoptic biographies, portraits of the artists, along with art criticism by eminent art critics, was published and launched on the day.
