SUMMARY:Fourth National Sculpture Exhibition. Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy\, Dhaka\, Bangladesh
DESCRIPTION:The Fourth National Sculpture Exhibition\, held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (http://shilpakala.gov.bd/)\, showcased 117 selected sculptures by 98 sculptors from across the country. Fifteen sculptures by eminent sculptors of the country like Abdur Razzaque\, Hamiduzzaman Khan\, Anwar Jahan\, Nitun Kundu\, Syed Abdullah Khalid\, Ferdousi Priyovashini\, Shamim Sikder\, Alak Roy\, Mahbubur Rahman and others were on display at the show. The show received 382 sculptures from 187 sculptors. A five-member selection committee selected the displayed 117 sculptures and a four-member jury comprising sculptor Hamiduzzaman Khan\, sculptor Alok Roy\, art critic Moinuddin Khaled and sculptor Mahabub Jamal selected the award-winning sculptures.
